Changes to my study programme

¡Hello my good readers! Today I' am going to talk about changes to my study programme. I study food engineer in University of Chile in Santiago.
In my area (foods) The changes are related whit the more production of food, products more tasty, products more safety and innovators products. All of this entails needs to so much investigation and some compliance with protocols because created a product is very difficult for all the thing what must be done. 



The most important changes about the food in the last time are the transgenic food, the supermassive production of meat, ecological production.
In my curriculum are some different subjects that can help me to make a change in the industry as the following subjects: some much Chemistry with their respective laboratories ( general, analytic, organic), Maths, Biology, Biochemistry and more career-specific subjects as physicochemical of food, conservation processes, process engineering (meat, dairy products, sea products, cereals).



This career it has a duration of five years and eleven semesters, we have seven subjects for a 
semester. In the faculty we have some laboratories, a little library, we don't have good places to eat, in generally the infrastructure it leaves much to be desired.

 I don't know what is the use of technology in my career yet because I don't use them for any subject yet. 
The teaching methods depend exclusive the teacher, In my faculty there are very good teachers whit teaching methods very cool and different, you can feel be realized whit their teachers and motivate yourself to learn also there are very bad teachers which do not worry if you learn I think they only go for their payment because they don't have vocation.

Nanoparticles and food industry

Hello friends today I'm going to write about the nanoparticles and their importance in food industry, to start the nanotechnology are the science that is concerned whit the design, characterizacion, production and application of structures, devices and systems controlling the size and shape at the nanometric scale. The interest of this technology is getting bigger in food industry because the nanotechnology are use to prevent microbial spoilage of packaged foods, to improve colors, flavors and textures, increase the bioavailability of vitamins and minerals. In addition, the application of nanoparticles has also allowed the development of innovative packaging materials that can improve the safety and shelf life of the products. The food engineer has a big importance in this industry also, the engineer can try make some investigation in this area and find new applications. I study food engineering in the University of Chile because is very especial for me , this major help me to know what i am eating, know the components of food and in the future create new products to I  help the people to care your health. This major is very important because you learn every of the production of different products ( meats, seafood, cereals, dairy products , etc).  the food contains microorganism that can be bad for the health, the engineering is worried for the health the people and work in this, in the packaging and in the complete production to give the best product to the consumer. My major is very interesting because is very complete and I can develop in different areas like scientific, of the administration ( the fabric ), boss of Plant, etc. I hope in the future i would can a work in the science and create something new or help in the problematic related the food.   πŸ˜‹ Kisses!
